Maggie
Periodontal Therapist
Maggie, Periodontal Therapist
Maggie worked as a wilderness raft guide and wanted a career centered around helping people. These factors and a handful of others led her to dental hygiene.
Maggie's years working in the holistic dental field have brought incredible joy in supporting people with their oral health goals. She especially loves working with people who have dental anxiety and those looking for a holistic approach to health - you can love going to the dentist, Maggie promises!
When not working with the Division Street Dental team, you will find Maggie wrangling her two beautiful kiddos through the urban and wild spaces of the PNW. If she had a superpower, it would be the ability to teleport! Oh, the places we'd go to and all the wonderful friends we'd see!!
Ashley
Dental Assistant
Ashley, Dental Assistant
Ashley has over 10 years experience in the dental field and has also taught dental assisting locally in Portland. Ashley knew she wanted to be apart of the dental field from a very young age because she loved going to the dentist!
She was recruited to holistic dentistry by Dr. Whitney and fell in love with the harmony of mouth and body. Helping adults and children achieve their oral health goals while making the dental experience fun is her passion.
Outside of work you can find Ashley hanging with her fam, crafting, or on an outdoor adventure.
If she could have any superpower it would be endless endurance! “With a family of 5, endless crafts to complete, and the world to see, I could do it all!”
Kelly
Periodontal Therapist
Kelly, Periodontal Therapist
Kelly has a BA in Dental Hygiene and over 19 years experience as hygienist in the Portland area. Kelly knew she wanted to serve as a dental hygienist beginning in high school and brings a passion for preventative health, an appreciation for long-term relationships with her patients, and a natural talent to learn. Kelly joined Division Street Dental after beginning her own journey of discovering the benefits of holistic dental care and seeing people improve their overall health by improving their oral health and visa versa.
In her personal time Kelly can often be found in the kitchen making delicious and nutritious foods for her family, as well as with her husband cheering on their two teenage kids. Together her family enjoys dinners with friends, serving in the community, and a variety of outdoor activities in the beautiful PNW. If Kelly had a superpower it would be slowing down time so she could better savor a moment or have more time to curl up with a good book!
Dani
Periodontal Therapist
Dani, Periodontal Therapist
Dani is an IABDM certified biological dental hygienist and received her bachelor’s of science in dental hygiene in Minnesota over a decade ago. She combines her love and knowledge of holistic care to serve her patients and help them achieve optimal dental health and overall wellbeing. Dani has a passion for learning and has trained in Myofunctional Therapy through the AOMT, Myofascial Release with the John. F. Barnes organization and has also been trained as a yoga instructor.
When Dani isn’t educating people about optimal oral function you can find her tending to plants, singing with friends, serving in her community, spending time in nature, reading a good book, or furthering her studies in her varied interests. If Dani had a super power she would have the ability to speak and understand every language.
Kaitlynn
Dental Assistant
Kaitlynn, Dental Assistant
Kaitlynn chose biological dentistry because she believes “your oral health is a reflection of the health of your body. By seeing a biological dentist you improve your oral health and your systemic health. Who wouldn’t want that?!”
Holistic medicine has been part of Kaitlynn’s life since she was a little girl. In her adult life, Kaitlynn continued the use of holistic medicine and overall holistic living as much as she could. Of course, life is about balance but for the most part, Kaitlynn loves to nerd out on all of the good stuff Mother Nature has to offer.
If she had one superpower, Kaitlynn says she would love to have the ability to grab all of her loved ones and teleport to wherever they’d want to go. Dinner in Italy tonight?! Why not?! 🙂
Sarah
Patient Care Specialist
Sarah, Patient Care Specialist
Sarah loves creating magical experiences and helping people. Having worked in dentistry for over 20 years, she brings a wide range of experience, including dental assisting and front office skills. She has a passion for helping create beautiful smiles and making each dental visit positive.
Sarah chose biological dentistry in Portland because it supports living your best life, feeling good, and getting the most out of every day. Sarah enjoys home yoga sessions with her teenage and young adult children, getting outside as much as possible, and a mostly plant-based lifestyle.
In free time, she can be found hosting family game nights or exploring new places. If Sarah had a superpower, it would be to freeze time and make all of our good moments last a bit longer.
